The Russian Ark: This movie was shot in a single take. The cinematographer Tillman Buttner, used a Steadicam and high-def digital technology; joined with some 2,000 actors in a tight-wire act in which every mark and cue had to be hit without fail to get the whole film in one shot. (x)

stalk-softly:

i’m so mad. i was just reading more about PCOS because i’m going off the pill and i want to get my body to the point where it will produce hormones correctly itself, not just give it synthetic hormones and i made a grim discovery

the pill that my doctor first prescribed me is responsible for worsening PCOS symptoms and causing gland weaknesses (? idk if i translated that correctly as i’m reading the german medical articles in hopes of getting a different perspective) in women when they stop taking it.

so this shitty piece of shit pill temporarily relieves the androgen-related symptoms that come with PCOS but worsens them in the long-run??? who thought this was a good method of treatment???

i’m glad i only took it for a year. smh

What medication were you prescribed? I was only ever told to take birth control, to supplement the hormones I needed to drop an egg, I think.  Not taking anything now and I want to avoid whatever you were on, if they give it out in America.

zapidos:

My little brother and I were swimming and my dad walked out and said “it’s trash day tomorrow you know what that means” and my brother looked at me dead in the eyes and said “it’s time for you to go.”
